How voice scoring works
1 October 2026 · 3 min read
Every draft in Recast gets a score. It says how close the draft is to the voice you taught Recast, on a scale from 0 to 100.
What goes into it
Recast looks at how you open, how long your sentences run, which words you use, and which you never would. It compares the draft to that summary.
When it is low
A low score is a prompt to look again. Maybe the draft is more formal than you usually are. Read it aloud and change what does not sound like you.
